Michigan State Speculation- Hoiberg

Like a moth to bright light.

I have no problem with it. I hope he goes, because I’m predicting it.

None of us really know him so none of us know what he wants to do. I think he’ll be back in college soon. Some disagree. Some think he’ll be a successful nba coach. I disagree. No big deal.

Don't look now, but Fred's looking at a pretty good situation in Chicago. Dunn, Lavine, and Markannen and a lottery pick next year. Plus a pick from the Pelicans to play with. Lopez and Asik coming off the books in a year.

I don't see him leaving unless the Bulls are looking to go in a new direction.

That's not true

Obviously that twitter handle doesn't know that Fred will be let go, not because of him, but because of a cleaning of GarPax.
He will take some time away from basketball.
Barry Alvarez retires.
WI hires Jamie.
ISU hires Fred as the new AD.
Profit.

Ehhh...I think some people think they know him because they once spoke to him or his parents or something stupid like that. But, you’re right I don’t know that you and him aren’t best friends.

I’ll say this, Chris Williams has a professional relationship with him and he said last year that he wrote that he wouldn’t be shocked if he went back to college. And he wrote a whole article about him and the Ohio State job last spring.

But you ignore so many facts - He publicly copped to hating the recruiting aspect of college basketball, he made it clear to Jamie Pollard at the outset that his ultimate goal was to coach in the NBA, and the Bulls have committed to a full tank job and rebuild with him AND he makes more there than any right minded AD would be able to pay him. That doesn't even mention that the things he built his program round at ISU - pacing and spacing, mining the grad transfer market - are no longer novelties at the college level. Whatever strategic advantages he had at ISU might not work as well now.

He has no plans to return to college and doesn't want to coach for very long. You can check my credibility going back to when he was here and when he left. The whole "I ******* hated recruiting" should have put a nail in the coffin to your theory

It looks better now that the Bulls have finally committed to his vision of what he wants them to be. They blew the first two years saddling him with guys who didn't fit his system. Ball stoppers who can't shoot like D Wade and Rajon Rondo come to mind.

Again, it’s just my guess. I’ve been wrong before and I’ll be wrong again. I’m not sure why anyone cares what I think.

I’ll say this, like most good politicians I think he says what he wants his audience to hear. Nothing wrong with that.

That twitter handle seems dubious at best. But I’ve predicted for a long time that he’d be in the big 10 or ACC sooner rather than later. He almost jumped to Ohio State last year.

Wrong....

Yeah, it's why it's so hard to believe he wants to leave now. That's going to be a fun team to coach for the next few years.

That wasn't the most entertaining tweet on that page. It was this:
I would eat s*** with a spoon to see Charles Barkley throw @dandakich through a plate glass window. Can we make this happen?
There isn't a bigger, more arrogant a$$ in the media than Jockitch.
I beg to differ. I can think of two and can find them together frequently.
