I was listening to WHB out of KC at lunch and they are speculating that the Martin to Mizzou, is a package deal with Michael Porter Jr. Get his dad a job as an assistant ala Ed Manning. It was reported that Porter hasn't signed his LOI with Washington an is from Columbia, before heading off to prep school

I doubt it. No way can they even get a new AD in place in time to make the move and now that they are in the Tourny his job is probably safe. If he was fired he would be a good hire for Drake.

My Hok in laws have already started in with the Hoiberg to Illinois and Prohm to LSU noise. SMH. I'd flip them some **** about Fran leaving but I don't know of any D-II openings.

Why would Prohm go to LSU? If he keeps winning at ISU he will have his pick of jobs IF he the wants in a few years. I doubt Hoiberg ever coaches in college again.

Maybe Fran should take the LSU job, it would be a step up from Iowa.

It all comes from some article a guy wrote. I think it was a Fansided blog.
In particular, it talked about how Hoiberg loves recruiting. The author clearly didn't know a lot. Even I don't think Fred liked recruiting, even a little.

That is Mizzou's wet dream.
Porter's dad is an assistant on UW and Romar is Michael's GodFather. In addition I believe 2 of the Porter girls are on the Mizzou Women's team. Prior to Martin taking the job there was some talk that Romar might jump with Porter Sr. to Mizzou before he gets let go at UW.

Romar is Porter's God Father. I don't see him leaving with Martin to Mizzou if Romar isn't going to Mizzou.

also, I looked up his Wikipedia page and it lists him as the current coach at Missouri, so that must be a done deal
