Groce out at Illinois according to Twitter. Any recruits to steal?
Damn, they should have scheduled Iowa more often.
They have a top 100 center
Is he at least 6'10"?
at the very least this helps our chances with Juiston.
Three 4 star kids have signed LOI with the Illini, wonder if any will ask for release?
Bruce Weber will be gone as soon as KSU get a new AD.
Pretty sure Tilmon's final two were UI and KU. I am sure a Self "associate" has reached out to see if he's opening his recruitment already.
Positive development on the Juiston recruitment.
this would make me sad
Any KSU recruits worth looking at? They'd probably try to exclude conference schools though.
This is going to be a crazy year for coaches changing places definitely going to help us pull in some recruits we wouldnt have been able to. The reverse of what happened to us with the Hoiberg ordeal 2 years ago. Beyond Juiston, not sure if we stay with any other recruits we've been after because of this.
Mizzou offered Cuonzo Martin their Head coaching job and he is considering it per Jeff Goodman. Martin can recruit and is from St. Louis though he hasn't consistently won. I am curious if he gets a Illinois offer too.
Edit: Saw on Twitter the rumor is the offer will be 3.5 mil per year.
"Considering it" means he is keeping it as his fallback option.
Why would they fire groce after a solid NIT win? At least let the dude finish the NIT.
Missouri might be a good option for cuonzo. It's a p5 job with no expectations seems like a good paycheck.
Weber won last night, looks like he has a job for one more season.
Means he wants more money.
My Hok in laws have already started in with the Hoiberg to Illinois and Prohm to LSU noise. SMH. I'd flip them some **** about Fran leaving but I don't know of any D-II openings.
Your hok inlaws are morons
