Thing that always stuns me looking at brackets:
Let's say we beat Nevada, as we should.
We beat Purdue (or opponent), and I believe we should.
We beat Kansas, because Kansas must be destroyed.
That's an awesome run, but still only half the victories it takes to win this whole monster.

Then they should have played like it. They're probably on their Twitter right now saying how they're sick of losing to teams they're better than.
Always talk about the teams that deserve it, but don't want to take teams out. If Vitale were picking the tourney, it'd be a 300 team bracket.
Vitale's bracket would be a 7 game series between Duke and UNC.
Every year ESPN opens up with that slime ball Calipari.
Why is Calipari ALWAYS ESPN's go to interview? I've never seen a coach get more free pub than that guy.
Also agree with Bilas about jockeying the tournament match-ups: just seed the damn thing and if conference foes meet in the first round - tough.
Why Illinois State? They didn't beat anyone all year. USC at least doesn't have the horrible losses Syracuse does. Those should count for something
I think Calipari had a good point: just tell us what the conference tourneys mean. In some respects they are given great credit - in others they are not.
