I've read they're disgusting. Taste exactly like Swedish fish, but the candy/cookie mix is pretty terrible.
I feel the same. I think they have a small chance of being better than plain Oreos but will be worse when dipped in milk, which, quite frankly, is the only way to eat Oreos.
I had to look that up. I understand that even less than I understand the tattooed ****. Or genitalia piercings on women (including nipples). VERY sensitive areas where you are concentrate that pain. EW!
Apparently the Twin Cities is a hotbed for rabid foxes. A gal taking her bike off of her car was attacked and bitten by a fox at Lake Harriett on Tuesday. Jogger was also attacked. Rabies shot time. Bet NWICY didn't know I was taking him on a ride through Rabiesville a couple weekends ago, it seemed like such a "nice" park path.

I see in the latest Lard thread they are now discussing potential eligibility issues. How much hand wringing can people do over something of which they have absolutely no control?

This nasty looking piece of work looks a little like some of the mangy foxes I'd see in Theodore Wirth Park when I used to run there. I'd see them and would think "mange, rabies or chucucabra?"
I heard some of our Girl Scouts talking about these and all I could think was "why?" Swedish fish are tolerable at best. With chocolate cookie? No thanks.

It seemed so safe, I was more worried about cars, people, and stuff like that instead of critters.
Sort of related when I lived in Wi. there was a really rough looking fox (worse than pic #2) that was hanging around my house, shot it left it lay in the field. no way I was handling that critter.
Tuesday, the fox attack day, was my ride the lakes day.
And, while I am a Man o' Leisure, I am not totally leisurely as a rider (as pace adjusted for my advanced age). I just cannot draft with you strong dudes!
Poor thing - probably best to put it out of its misery. I pity the people doing the shots. A family of friends in Ames who live in one of the Victorians in the historical district south of Mary Greeley had bat issues in their eaves & occassionally indoors. The whole family had to take prophylactic shots once. I don't remember the exact circumstances - something about they found a dead bat indoors that tested positive for rabies and couldn't be sure that rabies hadn't been transmitted to them through an open wound or saliva. That was about 25 years ago...so the shots may be different now. They went in the stomach back then, iirc, and there were several, spaced out over a few days. They were also very painful shots. With a couple of kids in preschool, early elementary ages, you can imagine how FUN that was.The probable rabies fox after it was caught

pretty sure a bat in the house was how that WI girl got rabies here 10 years ago or so. She was like one of the rare survivors, IIRC?
Today's shot regime is not like the old dreaded shots in the stomach of years ago. Four shots, shoulder or hip, not really any worse then any other vaccine.
