I'm going to say similar to the Twin cities. I would guess the lake keeps it a bit moderated.

I think it's well-established that the correct term is Drunken Sconnies.

I'd guess the lowest temps would be slightly higher than the Twin Cities but it is probably windier and snowier due to the lake.

Original Strongbow was sold here until a year or so ago. It had a strong flavor with a crisp bite to it; it was a great alternative to beer for me. Strongbow's US distributors did some taste testing (apparently among East Coast hipsters) and found that they preferred the "flavored" versions - golden apple & some other damn thing. Both of those are far far sweeter than the original. Because of this, the distributors discontinued the distinctive original flavor here (it's still available in England) and only sell the crappy sweet **** that's like every other crappy sweet hard cider over here.

I think I had the original Strongbow, and liked it. I like Crispin the best out of the current ones. Hate Redd's Apple Ale, and can drink about two Angry Orchard before the sweetness gives me a stomach ache.

I did discover a pretty decent drink a few months ago....apple juice and caramel vodka.
