Look at the address for that picture. It says Pontiac Fiero.

Curious, I went back and looked, it's just a poorly done website. There is a Fiero in Ferris Bueller's Day off:

It looks like they just got them mixed up, or, maybe they really don't know the difference, here's the link:

Yea, they probably screwed up. I never knew the car was a knock off but still wasn't sure how anyone could mistake it for a Fiero.

They had some kit cars built by the company that made replicas like these. One was just a fiberglass shell to crash out the garage. No real Ferrari California's in the movie.

Holy schnikeys:

The 289 has been replaced with a 351W bored and stroked to 427 cubic inches and dyno’d at over 500hp; a T-5 manual replacing the automatic (Matthew “two-pedalâ€￾ Broderick couldn’t drive a stick); 13-inch disc brakes were fitted;

I can't imagine 500 HP in a car that small...

As for Modena, they were shut down by Ferrari shortly after Ferris Bueller’s Day Off was released after being handed a cease and desist order.

Go figure, Ferrari being ***holes.

And Rep points for the first one to correctly identify what the "W" means in "351W" in the above post.
Woo? All things are Woo related since he's going to Germany for a month and won't be able to communicate with us. I don't think they even have the internet in a backwards place like Germany. Boxster, can you confirm?

This just happened:

I see someone from IT in the break room that I have not seen in about a month or so. I notice she has a new shorter haircut and here is the exchange:

Me: Hi, J (not her actual name). Haven't seen you around in a while. Like the new haircut.
J: Oh, it's just a wig. I've been undergoing chemo for the past few weeks.
Me: (panicking) Sorrytohearthat, hopeyou'rebettersoon, loveyouthanksbyesorryhaveagoodlunch!

Awkward.

"Well, the wig you've chosen looks great on you. I hope the chemo goes well for you."

I have a friend who is dealing with this. They've given up on chemo and are now going to try radiation to shrink the tumors. Prognosis is not good. There is literally NOTHING you can say to them except something like the above. It's a very helpless feeling.

No one would really care if you boiled Mason City residents. Right, pants?

I'm headed Nickel's way for work this week. Others get to go nice scenic places for work trips, I get to drive I-80 and end up in Nebraska. :frown:

the friend moving out east for his job/fiancee is working in a role that will eventually involve international travel. Common places they "have" to go include New Zealand and Australia. He was pretty pumped about that.

Man, I'm getting all sorts of haters in the gorilla thread just for voicing my own personal opinion. I've even said the zoo did the right thing and people are getting up in arms.

I think people just take a hugely complex situation and boil it down to one position. Situations like this are not able to be so overly simplified.

I mean, I started out just saying I'd kill the kid instead of the gorilla without any further explanation or context. That didn't help, I suppose.

When driving by the lake it was a little chilly. No people wearing tank tops, also no people fishing. Still holding well with my theory.

You just had a dumb opinion, it's ok, happens to everyone from time to time.
