BTW, the Boxster top is a cottonwood seed magnet. Had the garage door open Saturday for a while while doing yardy work and had to use a sticky clothes roller on it.

There's not many cottonwoods around this area. I can think of only one or two.

Heh...Had windows open Sunday, the screen door between the house and garage was fuzzy from the cottonwood seeds that got stuck to it. Yesterday, the wind changed direction, so they blew off.

They had some kit cars built by the company that made replicas like these. One was just a fiberglass shell to crash out the garage. No real Ferrari California's in the movie.

I see someone from IT in the break room that I have not seen in about a month or so. I notice she has a new shorter haircut and here is the exchange:

Me: Hi, J (not her actual name). Haven't seen you around in a while. Like the new haircut.
J: Oh, it's just a wig. I've been undergoing chemo for the past few weeks.
Me: (panicking) Sorrytohearthat, hopeyou'rebettersoon, loveyouthanksbyesorryhaveagoodlunch!

Proper response would have been "Right, anyway, my statement stands, that's a fine looking haircut on you."

Of course if you do feel bad you could go shave your head in solidarity. Yup, Little GTO has enough hair to carry the family while yours grows back.

I was talking to one of our building engineers the other day and noticed he had buzzed his hair. I asked, "Is that your summer 'do?" He replied that he shaved it to support his daughter with cancer. He handled the response with a lot of dignity and honesty. I felt pretty bad and can feel your pain.

I'd make recommendations for something to do in Omaha, but I've got nothing.
