Gee, thanks 500, thanks for turning this into a friggin' math thread.
It was my understanding that there would be no math.

Your math is way wrong. 2,280 RT in a minute, 136,800 RT in an hour, 3,283,200 RT in a day.
GREAT! NOW I WANT TO WATCH REVENGE OF THE NERDS. THANKS A LOT.

This isn't right. Indiana (at least all but a western sliver) is Eastern standard time.

if falling in a bottomless pit.... what would kill you first?
Also, I believe Arizona does not follow Daylight Savings Time, either. I had a clinical in Phoenix, and distinctly remember being on Pacific time.
We don't, and it's infuriating. Since we don't change our clocks and nearly everyone I work with is in a different state, my calendar goes all sorts of crazy when the clocks change. Meetings start moving based on who set it up, there is overlap, some meetings moving, others staying the same. It's anarchy, I tell ya! I have to get up an hour earlier for work in the summer, which isn't so bad because it's 250 degrees and the sun comes up at 4:30.
But seriously, it's time for DST to be done.

DST sucks. Move them 1/2 hour and call it good.Just because Arizona isn't on board doesn't mean that DST should go. There are valid economic reasons for it to be around in the majority of states.
