In the geography field: part of Florida is in the Central Time Zone. A lot of the UP is in the eastern zone, even though it's clearly further west than all of Wisconsin which is all Central.

A couple years ago we flew from Des Moines to Pensacola by way of Atlanta. We went from Central to Eastern to Central time zones. I was so confused on what time it was when we got there.

Here's one that always floors me. John Tyler was born in 1790, and was America's 10th president. (we're about to elect our 45th) John's grandsons? They're still alive. They're in their 80's, but very much alive. Not great grandsons. Just regular grandsons. of our 10th president.

This isn't right. Indiana (at least all but a western sliver) is Eastern standard time.

Yeah, I think the line was on the Eastern border at one time but has changed a county at a time to where it is almost entirely in the Eastern time zone now.

They switched it to EST right before I moved there in 2007, so probably around a decade ago?
