The puppy is dropped off to get spayed. She should feel good that I even opted for the $50 blood work to make sure she will handle the anesthesia well.
$50 for blood work is not expensive.
Would you skimp if it were your child?
I just throw on a ISU shirt and some jeans and I'm good.Waking up and not having any idea what you're going to wear to work is kind of annoying.
This one has to come with the shorts, right?I think that's why I was leaning Schrempf as well. Plus I like the white and green.
Debated an old Stockton jersey as well

Probably would have skipped it with a kid too. Our normal vet (read wife likes it but it is freaking expensive) quoted us $650 to get her spayed. Over my dead freaking body. So I shopped around and the vet we went to growing up that is well respected will do spay and declaw for $300 (well $350 now with the blood work). The expensive vet does it laparoscopically. It is a damn standard procedure that they do countless times unless you have scientific proof that a significant percentage of patients have issues that the blood work could have prevented then it is just another upsell to me.
But I wimped out and got it for her.
55--did you have a puppy visit? I don't remember what you had planned. Yesterday one of my friends in Omaha liked an article on FB about some cat/kittens that had been rescued by the humane society. You could tell by the pic that the mom was a (domestic) Bengal. I contacted hubby's cousin who worked there and she put a quick hold on one for us. We previously had a 1/2 Bengal and mostly loved his personality. But hubby said no.
As soon as I saw them she went over to check them out (actually almost walked into a live TV interview--oops!) and got a temporary hold on one for us. If you ever do see a puppy you want to put a hold on, I got connections.

I think our guy is I that 200 area. Small town guy who isn't just small animal (does have a dedicated staff for it though) so he has the commercial livestock to take care of his overhead.
We debated driving out to Blairstown where it would have been done for under $200 but that is almost 3 hours for two trips out there and back so we just decided to pay a little more and stay in town.
I'm driving to Adel on Saturday to meet some puppies and their mom, and then I have to pick one.
They're listed as terrier mixes, the puppies were found at 7 weeks and had some skin issues from their previous living conditions. They are so freaking cute.
This is mom
