Take ISU to cover against Baylor!

But seriously, with the turf and super glue gloves we have these days, I don't think it'll take more than 14 off their score. Their running game is vastly underrated and their receivers are so much better that we will only be 10 yards behind them rather than 15 like usual.

This. It ain't going to be some 1960's vintage Packers versus the Bears mud fest.

We're so bad that we are hoping for a torrential downpour so that we can maybe cover a 37 point spread. Man, it's even more depressing when you type it out

Oh really? So does that mean the other 90% of Cyclone fans who aren't stupid enough to currently support Rhoads will hate the next guy too?

If you believe that those other Cyclone fans hate on these guys as much as you do. Sure. My point wasn't that you were wrong over the past two years, it has just gotten old. To the point where I rarely come on here anymore. I don't need unrealistic optimism, I just disagree that this constant ******** helps us get better one bit. Donate to the CPR retirement fund, contact JP, whatever.

Anyway, carry on, I apparently hit a nerve and I'm not about to argue with you guys all day.

Judging by that attempted cheap parting shot I'd say it's you, whom have had their nerve hit. Good day sir.

This will have to do since I couldn't find one of Fez.

We're gonna go inside, we're gonna go outside, inside and outside. We're gonna get 'em on the run boys and once we get 'em on the run we're gonna keep 'em on the run. And then we're gonna go go go go go go and we're not gonna stop til we get across that goalline. This is a team they say is... is good, well I think we're better than them. They can't lick us, so what do you say men?

I'm hoping for us to cover... Even with the rain though..

Baylor averages 348 yards rushing and 371 yards passing. Even if it slows down their passing game. I have a feeling they will still run all over us.

If it's going to slow down Baylor, just imagine what it's going to do to ISU. I'm sure we'll give up a few pick-sixes or safeties to help them out.

I guess I missed I it, always thought you still had a tiny bit of optimism regarding ISU football. All I can say is welcome to the dark side with the rest of us. :-)

Gunners made two attempts to get in the middle of the pillow fight and gets ignored. Odds on a third try?

CPR on the coaches show: "We've been practicing indoors all week in preparation for the expected conditions in Waco that Metinka has been relaying to me via land line."

"We have been dropping water on the practice field area and trying to make mud. Our cleats will be more like a mud tire, but legal."

ISU will not cover 37, I like our boys but after doing the research if you take ISU to cover you will be a loser come Saturday afternoon. If you like/need money (it seems like most on here do) bet agressive on Baylor and do I mean agressive!

Good day, Clones.

Ummm, you do realize that Baylor is ranked #2 in the country in team rushing right? Do you really think the rain will keep them from scoring?

We could have a time travelling team of ISU all stars and not beat the spread this weekend.

First of all, we should never, ever punt to Baylor. What's the point? Secondly, if Baylor doesn't put up 70 and hold us to less than 10 they will surely fall in the polls. So expect them to come out swinging. They will be doing everything that we won't to ensure the blowout. We should be the team doing everything differently. That is the only chance we have ...

If BU wins 49-28 with backups getting scored on like last year they won't fall in the polls.

Briles will score 50-60 then run it a lot. Did it vs Tech, WV, SMU, KU, Rice, etc... If they happen to score on a run or return so be it but he usually backs off.
