Take ISU to cover against Baylor!

Kinda looking like the spread should have been 50 or more since we are not going to score.

Short sale this week on the Real Estate Boys homestead due to gambling loss?

I'm going to make money on this game today. Iowa State at Baylor has turned into the lock of the century.

Currently accepting large bags of puked up crow. Just put them on my doorstep.

You said weather would affect them, it didn't, they just had no motivation and it showed. They started out hot, the students left the game when up by 35 and all energy left their team. You said weather, that proved wrong. Nice try though.

Pretty sure you get enough left on your front doorstep based on how you've rubbed people on here over the last year;)

I'll gladly eat crow ANYTIME I am proven wrong by the Cyclones! : ) I was thinking that this game would be 71-14 where Linwood would run for 285+ and score 5-6 TDs on his own. I actually enjoyed watching the end of the 1st half and the entire 2nd half - not something that I was planning (I almost convinced myself to stop watching at halftime).

I hope you don't gamble a lot....

Nostradamus, stick to your day job:wink:

How can you say weather had no affect on them? Being wet for three+ hours can be freaking miserable, and overtime can wear on you. Not to mention getting into a locker room at half time to warm up and dry off, only to go back outside into the miserable weather. Maybe the students dont leave early if its a nice sunny day?

Im confident if it was sunny and 80 degrees outside, Baylor does not go over 30 minutes without a score.

Weather didn't seem to affect our offense. Ended up just a shade above our average scoring output for the season coming into this game.:jimlad:

Yeah, that comment was dumb. Weather certainly played a role. A typical Baylor game is played in 80 degree weather and sunshine at home. That Baylor team scores 60+ points.
Weather played a huge role today.
