Maybe, maybe not, this isn't football. True freshman can be just fine in basketball. Definitely nice to have Jackson on board though.

I was thinking more long term. I love a good combination of jucos/transfers and high school, so I'd like to know we have a potential stud PG for more than one year if MM stays.

I'm not feeling as good because Wisconsin is Wisconsin. Undoubtedly, I'm sure his dad will say it was an amazing time and they loved the visit, but I'm more inclined to believe it's the truth when it's Wisconsin as opposed to Illinois.

Agreed, I think Jackson is better next year but Simpson could be a long term answer.

But if Jackson is a good PG, the position I'll be least worried about in recruiting is PG. Prohm will find a good one in two years.

Also apparently Charlie Moore moved his visit to Illinois to this weekend. Makes you wonder if he's feeling the pressure from Simpson. It would really be great if Moore would commit to Illinois this weekend.
