Ok. Give me a second. I'm eating a BLT right now with corn on the cob. This cannot be disturbed.

mmmmmmm good choice!

sounds like bumblebees. They can sting but they aren't aggressive bastards like yellowjackets. They are nice pollinators for the most part.

BURN THAT **** DOWN! BURN IT DOWN!

those are yellowjacket bastards. Do not play with those. And probably call a professional unless you are positive they cannot have a giant *** nest under there. Because their nests can get HUGE.

We had one in our basement that was legit like 8ft by 3 ft. Not ok.

I had yellow jackets recently. About 2 weeks ago I sprayed inside the entrance with wasp spray making sure not to get the entrance wet. I then covered up the entrance with duct tape. The duct tape is still in place and it seems to have done the trick.

It was rising quickly so I didn't know if my phone got the picture of it. It came up and actually stayed up for a while. I couldn't get it back down.

my post came because I thought it was an aerial picture of Kinnick.

wasps are the long skinny ones. Those short little black and yellow bastards are yellow jackets. They are mean ****ers.

Good to know. I think I killed some of them with gasoline but there a several remaining. Does the fire need to just smoke them out or burn every thinks? The little fockers are way deep in that board.

At my old house I ran my lawnmower over a yellow jacket nest. Started brushing what I thought were flies off and then once I started to get stung realized what had happened. Ran straight to the house. Ended up with about 20 stings, and one of the lil ****** managed to follow me all the way in the house. I captured him and gave him a slow death. (Jar with a cotton ball soaked in nail polish remover). (old biology class trick) Pretty sure I went through about 20 cans of wasp spray (it was on sale for $1 a can or something at menards) wiping them out.

My dad recently ran over another nest on the same property. He got stung a bunch as well. Went to the same menards, got the same sale 2 years later, and started spraying cans into the hole in the ground. When they started coming out he parked the mower over the hole with the handle tied off and let it run for 15 minutes. Apparently it worked. He emptied another few cans into the hole and put a rock on top just to be sure.

yeah I'm mostly joking on the fire. I have no idea how to do that. We had to call in a pro for ours. I'd check that link other person posted.
