landscaper showed up about 10 minutes after that. We had by that point called them and left a message and texted our manager asking for the direct line. He had said he would call them and the guy was on the phone when he got here. The bank and I both made it clear last week that **** MUST be done by Monday. And they did get us the draw documents faster than we thought - and I think that's really where we were tight because other agencies (title company and such) need time to process things.
The landscapers can stay and work all night for all I care at this point. I just knew they HAD to show up today or we were going to be in bad spot.
I think the point you need to get across is that it's them, and not you, that will be in the bad spot. There's zero reason for their delay to end up costing you money considering how long they've known what's up.
