KC is your family doing ok in these Texas floods, or have all of you moved away as you grew up? It sure looks like a mess down there and I thought you've mentioned the hill country before.

I have family in Harper (near the Pedernales) and Junction (by the Llano), but they are all on higher ground than the flooding and flash floods going on in that area. Just kinda isolated at times. My sister is in College Station...no problems there. However, my two nieces live in Spring and The Woodlands (north side of Houston), and the one in The Woodlands had a pretty tough route home the other night. All are safe, however...thanks for asking. :)

Hi Guys! I feel like I took three days off. Lots of fun with the munchkin. The only downside right now is that she's changing her tastes again. So lots of flake cereal and lots of milk. I hope she isn't starting a no meat phase.... Will eat beef sometimes still. Sigh. :)

Living your life is preferable to both RT and Hoiberg Watch. Food phases with kids are about as bad as they are with pregnant mommies.

^If she is eating yogurt and drinking lots of milk, you are probably good on the protein. You can even try her with cereal that has a little more of that too.

At least she still likes yogurt and applesauce, and most of the normal veggie fare.
When my son was a baby/toddler he would eat anything and everything: broccoli, brussel sprouts, peas, beef, chicken, etc. He then got a lot pickier when he turned 4. Just now at age 7, he's strtaing to eat more varieties of food again.

My daughter ate everything when she was little, too. She became picky and is now 10 and has never grown out of it. With my son (7), on the other hand, we generally have to quickly grab the plate when he is done or he just might eat that too.

This is encouraging. I am willing to change up offered food a bit, but at the same time I don't want to start fixing her a separate meal every time option.

Good call. My daughter needs to figure out what she will eat from the meal we are having. She also has to keep trying things "she doesn't like" when we are having them because tastes change. She gets sick of hearing of the foods Mom and Dad used to dislike but now really like.
