How did he not get kicked out after the second one?
People at work:
Them: "It's so frustrating."
Me: "What part"?
Them: "The team is so inconsistent. You don't know if you're going to see the team that showed up last night, or the team that has won twice against Ohio State."
Me: "Oh...I know. Feel yajimlad
"
Haha that would suck to have to bring up beating a bubble team to reference your team playing well
Here's a better gif of the eye pokes plus bonus head rub. What a weirdo.

It had to be intentional. Woodbury doesn't even pull his hands back or have a reflex motion like "my bad."

Well on the first one, it wasn't his bad in the first place. He had his hand out and Hayes jab stepped into it. The second one didn't look malicious at all. He was probably trying to get in Kaminsky's head (which was incredibly stupid at that point in the game), but it's not like he jabbed at him. Still makes him look like an idiot, though.
I don't think the first one was on purpose, but things like that happen when you decide to put your hand a couple inches from someones face, which was an intentional move.
The second one was intentional, I don't know if he was going for his eyes but he was definitely purposely making contact with his face.
I've only watched iowa a handful of times this year but it really doesn't take much for them to go bush league, not suprising with Fran's on court conduct. Usually it's White.

Really? Look at the video. The 2nd one is definitely intentional.I appreciate how hard Woodbury plays, but I can't defend the eye gouging. It's pretty difficult to tell whether or not it was intentional, but I will say it looks pretty sketchy to me. You just don't mess with someone's eyes. That's not cool. Wouldn't take much to cause some serious damage. I wouldn't be upset if was suspended for a game or two, but he probably won't be.
With that said, I've seen Hogue cross that line between hard play and going too far on the court as well. A lot of teams have guys who occasionally let their emotions get the best of them. It isn't unique to Iowa. Doesn't mean I'm a fan of it, but lets not act like it is just Iowa guys doing it. That would be naïve.

Put a hand in a guys face like he did on the first one happens all the time. Things like that happen, but there was nothing dirty about that play. And he was definitely purposely making contact with Kaminsky's face, but it certainly didn't look malicious. He was trying to **** with him and came out looking like a fool (because it was really stupid). It certainly wasn't going to cause an injury; Kaminsky was practically laughing about it on the floor.
He wasn't trying to reach for his face, it's just that his arms were not long enough to reach the ball.I must not watch enough B1G basketball, is purposely making contact with players faces normal or something?
