BDJ

Honestly, there were a few times I wish he pulled the ball down and took it to the hoop instead of passing, but I like what he is doing.

In other words, stress their defense by doing some faking or actually couple dribbles before passing.

Here is another approasch. This year our team seems like they would not mind popping three pointers without working harder for buckets. Once in a while, one of our player look like they will try extra hard to score inside. Maybe we need more inside and less outside shooting this year.

Lately we've seen shades of old BDJ. Like USC and UNLV shades. There isn't a shot he doesn't like and lately he been forcing the issue.

The global change this team needs to address is getting caught in the air with no options. That's the sign of a team that is trying a little to hard.

Are we watching 2 different games? In the last few games there have been 5 or more other players that take more shots than he has taken. In the Okie State game he shot as many times as Matt Thomas did. If you want to criticize him on his play that's one thing, but to compeltely make up that he's some sort of a ball hog, I'm just not seeing it based on his ISU body of work. At times does he try to drive the ball to the hole? Sure. I actually want him to do that, although, would love to see a higher success rate. Someone enlighten me, if I'm wrong.

Just to throw in a few numbers compared to last year at UNLV.

FG percentage 10% better, 3 pt percentage better, FT percentage almost 20% better, more rebounds, more assists, more steals and more blocks.

Too bad that Fred can help these transfers improve.

100% spot on.

I am with you I like it when he drives to the hole. It seems no one else wants to be aggressive and so I welcome it when he does it.

As a frequent message board poster that actually watches the games, I've always wondered what it's like to not watch any of the games yet still post on the message board. Could you give me a little idea of how that works and what it is like?

BDJ almost lost his cool on a hard hacking foul to prevent an easy lay up. The players elbow looked to pop him in the nose. Just a little in the monent emotion thats all.

I'm pretty critical of his play. Perhaps unfairly. Personally I cringe every single freaking time he drives in on 3 dudes and refuses to pass to the open trailing teammate or out for an open three.

Hypocritically to what I just said, I do get a bit of a chub when he has an amazing dunk from outside the lane.

Just to be fair, as another poster mentioned, Georges has done the same. I feel like Georges has had more turnovers, forced shots, and shots blocked this past few weeks than I'm used to seeing.

The difference is George doesn't have a 4 year history of being a ******/all-about-me player.
