Walking Dead

I'm glad Terminus was a 1 episode deal. I'm not a fan of two months at one location.

PS - Gotham is a good show.

If Gotham keeps progressing it'll be in my top five with all the others being cable shows.

Maybe I'm in the minority here but was kind of disappointed. They spent eight episodes in the second half of the last season building up terminus only to blow the place up in the very first episode of the new season. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I don't think they could really drag out what they wanted to achieve in Terminus for more than a couple episodes. They wanted to kill the main group and dragging out trying to kill the main group would kill the story line. I am glad they left a lot of Terminus under wraps. It lets you imagine what could have went on there. The leader of Terminus will be back and I'm sure Rick will kill him with the machete.

On a side note, I had a nightmare last night about being locked up similar to the way they were in that episode and people wanting to kill me. First time I have had a nightmare from something I watched for a long time. The trough scene was very disturbing to me...

I had to DVR last night's episode due to a prior engagement. I get home, watch it, and it stops recording just before it is revealed that Morgan is back! Arrrrgh! Thank God I DVR'd Talking Dead as well since that started recording immediately following the episode. Had I not done that I wouldn't have known that was Morgan until I got on this thread.

I know something similar happened to a bunch of people years ago for The Sopranos final episode. It went beyond the allotted time and they missed the amazing ending.

Anyone else watching Talking Dead?

They mentioned a few minutes ago that the first guy to buy it at the trough, the blonde guy, is the same guy that Rick and Carol ran into in an episode back in Season 3; they referred to him as the "hippie". He was with a hobbled woman who didn't make it out of the episode alive. I had no idea that they were one and the same.

They also said that the actor is the same guy who plays the Penguin on "Gotham".

Anyway, great episode! Hopefully it's a good omen for the whole season.

I thought Conan was very funny on Talking Dead. Episode was great as well.

Good thing I ate my supper before the opening scene.

Yeeeaaahhhh....I had to set aside my dinner for that first five minutes. It wasn't the trough, it was the blurred shot of "body on table hearing an electric saw".

I like how he called Gareth the first post-apocolyptic hipster, and a frustrated Starbucks manager.

Loved the episode. I too was glad they didn't spend too long on Terminus. I was reading about what they want to do this season and realized that they never solved the Beth getting kidnapped deal.... Any idea which way they might go with that?

If you go and watch the season trailer from comic con Beth has been picked up by some weird police force that looks to be trying to brain wash her....and she's still smoking hot.

the build up of what Terminus was is still there ... the people that controlled it and worked for it are out and about.... they are the antagonist for this season. It seems the season (if not a few more episodes) will center around what Terminus was.

I thought it was a great episode, and the Terminus hipster will be a good antagonist, but I don't like how they felt the need to try squeeze in how they went from regular, good people to psychotic butchers that are indifferent and even gleeful in killing people. Based on what they went through I can certainly see a little craziness and acting like the governor. But to go from supposed perfectly good people to actively luring people to kill and doing it with such ease and joy is a bit much for me.

And yes, I am fully aware of the irony of complaining about the realism in a show where zombies take over the world.

That had to be the most gruesome episode so far right? I was blown away when the people were getting their throats slit at the beginning, wow. Also, that guy threatening baby Judith put me on edge.

What a great episode!

What was premeire was originally designed to be the last episode of season four....l

Pretty sure it was one of the markings we saw in the episode Clear, rick must have been leaving it for morgan.

Anybody else think they will coy Lost and devote some episodes to Terminus like lost did with the tail section episodes?
