First few seasons are absolute gold, next few are a bit more hit or miss, last few are for diehard fans only.

I can say I don't think I ever watched an entire episode of Mash, although I wasn't really old enough to remember it new, but it sure was syndicated forever. Can't say I'd ever do it.

Three that tug at the heartstrings:
The Christmas episode when Charles plays secret Santa to Father Mulcahey's orphans and is caught by Klinger.
The episode with the orphaned baby girl who is the product of an American soldier and a Korean mother.
The episode where a patient needs a transplant...but the donor (a mortally wounded soldier) is not yet dead.

Favorite MASH episode? I'm going with a multi-way tie between 5 O'Clock Charlie, The Longjohn Flap, The Incubator, and Abyssinia, Henry.

I AM way younger than all of you, and I know MASH better than most. It is an all time classic that is great for any age. (All my siblings know it well too, its the only series we can watch over and over again.)
