Rene Rancourt starts singing, and then the TD Garden crowd takes it home as Boston returns to sports two days after the bombing at the Boston Marathon.

Can't be, he looks like a runner

Ha ha, but no. That was just one of many things investigators looked at.

Any and all peeps that had a black bag seemed to be the most telling sign. Now you have two guys pictured carrying visibly stuffed bags one of which is black and then in later pictures black bag is missing.

What description was that....the only physical description I'd heard was on CNN.

Bill Hemmer on Fox News said he has seen the picture they are circulating to the authorities but not to the public. The picture matches what he described.

to me it looks like he's just holding it in front of him in the 2nd pic. Like some of us would do if Cyride were really full

The guy in black....his backpack looks pretty light...not like there's a pressure cooker stuffed in it

A pressure cooker could definitely fit in that. And if you look closely, it looks like there could be one on its side with the lid facing straight back, thus the protrusion.

Also according to CNN, the described suspects were standing around the blast site for hours and didn't leave until right before the explosion.

Kinda off topic, but... my family goes to Indy every year & I've thought in years past about how easy it would be to get bombs in there. You can literally bring large coolers full of beer & the security pretty much doesn't even look at them. I hope they step their game up this year.

true for any sporting event...it will be a nightmare to start screening people (airport style) entering arenas. But I guess we will see that now

I'd say a large race track is substantially harder to secure than an arena.

Actually, I've been wondering why someone would choose to target a marathon. It seems like if they were going for 'mass effect' there would be better targets. Of course, I haven't thought about it that much:wideeyed:

Yeah, i think it's natural to have those "what would I do" types of thoughts. I was thinking the pros/cons type of though about this situation....unexpected, but gosh, you have to expect video and tons of camera at a thing like a marathon.
