These news groups are so afraid someone will get the information out before them they seem willing to throw just about anything out there and then pat themselves on the back if they guessed correctly. If not they just say that their "source" was wrong.
Exactly. CNN made sure to point out that they were the first to report an arrest was made in an update to the original story which was to tell everyone that no arrest had been made.
