This is obviously a publicity stunt. Grinder wouldn't even be considered a good DIII men's player. The difference in strength and athleticism between a guy and a girl isn't even remotely close

Smart. The salary he would have to pay her would be outweighed by the amount of ticket sales, jersey sales, media attention and overall interest in the team. There is a reason this guy is a billionaire. Even a 2nd round pick seems reasonable considering that 2nd round picks are useless anyway. Yes, it would be a publicity stunt, but a profitable publicity stunt.

Gilbert Arenas is a stretch and Michael Redd spent half his career in street clothes. I agree there's value to be had in the 2nd round (Ginobili) but for the most part it's a throw away pick.
