NBA: Playoff Time

Congrats to OKC. My wife is an OKC fan, and we are going up to OK for the Memorial Day weekend, so I will have to take my lumps.

Here's hoping the Lakers do some house cleaning. This was the second year in a row where Pau Gasol disappeared during the playoffs. He seems like a real nice guy and does well during the regular season, but the Lakers need more than 12 ppg out of that position during the playoffs. Kobe basically begged him to take on more scoring. Might be time for him to give it a try somewhere else. It also wouldn't hurt if Kupchack could arrange for the Lakers to have a point guard and a credible bench for next season.

You sound like Kobe, blame it on Gasol.

Yup I remember a couple years ago there were a lot of people thinking Pau deserved the Finals MVP over Kobe.

I'm starting to not like the Pacers. They are way too cocky. I thought they were a hard nosed just go to work type crew, but they keep going to the media and talking Miami down. Granger is also a thug (even though I already knew that from when he tried to fight with Kevin Love).

I blame Lebron James. For everything. Ever. :jimlad:

don't forget the Longhorn Network. they get some of the blame to.

Huge game in Miami tonight. It's a tossup the way I see it. Lebron and Wade can't possibly combine for 70 points in back to back games...right?

Thats what I'm thinking. Lebron played almost the entire game and worked his *** off the whole time. Wouldn't be surprised if his shots start falling short in the 2nd half. Would be amazing if he can even come close to what he did in the last game back-to-back

I think that the Heat take tonight's game and game six as well to clinch. However somebody other than LeBron and D-Wade has to step it up. I'd look for Udonis Haslem to have another huge game tonight like he had in the 4th quarter of last game.

I think James and Wade will have about 60 between them. My question is will the role players step up?

Also, Mr. 6-24 was not the MVP of the 2010 finals.

Exactly, who in the world tries to fight Kevin Love?

I'm with you on Indiana. After the confrontations the Bulls had with Indiana last year in the first round I have no love for them either I just prefer them or anyone going against the Heat. Indy had a chance in their own house to go up 3-1 and they let 2 guys beat them. I'm sorry but Miami wins the next two.

It is what it is. Bryan't didn't disappear during the playoffs (for the second year in a row). If Gasol had added 2 ppg to his regular season scoring average during the playoffs, the Lakers are probably still in.

Well look at that, Kobe takes 2.1 more shots Pau gets 2.2 less shots.

Game 5 last night. 33 shots, 0 assists.

Andrew Bynum and Pau Gasol are 7 feet tall. Yet Kobe shot better from the field against the Thunder than they did. They were awful. Bynum in the last game of the year had 10 points and 4 rebounds! 4 ******* rebounds!

The Lakers got beat on the boards last night by 16. Unexcusable.

And you know why Pau took 2 less shots? Because he was soft and passed up 2-3 open looks each half
