NBA: Playoff Time

I'm not a LeBron fan at all, and don't want him to ever win a ring, but the hate some people on here have for him is crazy. That was a great performance today when they had to have it. 40, 18 and 9...ridiculous. People also conveniently forget his game in 2007 against the Pistons in the conference finals when he scored Cleveland's last 31 points in Game 5, which is still the greatest individual performance I've ever seen. Its alright to not like him personally and cheer against him, but to say he's not a great player is just not paying attention.

He also did the same thing last year against both the Celtics and Bulls just couldn't close against the Mavs.

Because it's more fun to have a villain, and LeBron has made it pretty easy to hate on him.

How many games did LeBron win in the finals that year?

Who else on that Cavaliers team could score? People ripped after one game in the Piston's series in 07 because, heaven forbid, he passed it to a wide open shooter in the corner for a potential game winner.

I'm going to leave this here.

And in a complete 180, I don't know how anyone could like Kobe. Such a ******.

he is certainly making people think he is a d-bag if they already didn't have that opinion of him prior to this playoff series. how many of your teammates do you have left to throw under the buss?

MVP for OKC? Bryant's 4th qtr. performances, I'd say.....

I'd like to say that I had no problem with Lebron when he was in Cle.

So because he didn't stay with a team who made minimal effort to help him win championships, you hate him. OK, whatever. I compare him and Cleveland to Allen Iverson and Philadelphia. Both offices were complacent and didn't make moves to get championships. Look at the Lakers. They went out and got what Kobe needed. Look at the Celtics. They went out and got KG and Allen to help Pierce. Cleveland did nothing significant to help LeBron. Sorry a washed up Jamison is not "doing something."

Durant's doing it in a small market. It can be done.

Apples and Oranges. Durant has Westbrook, Perkins, Ibaka and Harden, who are all better than the 2nd best player on any of LeBron's Cleveland teams. Look what happened when he left, they won 20 games. Again, I don't like LeBron, in fact I really can't stand him and the Heat, but you have to be fair to him and recognize what a great player he actually is.

He sure is, with a Top 3 point guard in the league. In fact Westbrook is the best PG in the league for that team. That's not to mention the fact that they have some other good pieces. Don't compare OKC to any Cav team LeBron was ever on. You give him Westbrook and he has rings. He was the only guy on his team who could get his own shot. Everyone else was a shooter or garbage bucket guy.

I agree with this. I am a fan of LeBron. I think he made a couple bad decisions, one for the right reasons, but I realize he has done things wrong at times. On the other hand, it is completely unfair to him to talk about rings when he has been on one team that wasn't awful outside of him. Kobe didn't win a ring by himself. Didn't he actually miss the playoffs one year? When talking about LeBron, haters will show his failing moments and minimize or ignore his last 31 point performance and any other performance where he was the only reason for a win. It isn't fair. Then, when Kobe disappears int he 4th last night, he gets excused.

Lebron's problem in Cleveland was he was too good too early. He carried his team to the playoffs and they weren't able to stock the roster with early picks. Durant didn't carry his team to wins early and they got the #4 pick Westbrook and then the #3 pick Harden. Same problem Rose has now.

That's a very good point...I'll probably use that one sometime. +rep
