*** OFFICIAL ISU-Lipscomb Gameday Thread!!***

Here's my question. Didn't Melvin say he improved his shot over the summer? Because at least he used to make a few outside shots last year. This year he hasn't hit outside of layup range.

I don't think I've ever posted anything that has criticized our ISU teams, but this type of basketball is hard to watch. We are tired - WHY? LE's teams could run a team out of the gym with 6 healthy bodies. What kind of offense are we running? I will support the team, but this is so frustrating to watch! I truly hope that this team will make me regret posting this.

Lazy Tired

Nobody will convince me that no PG isn't a huge problem.

That's fine. I'm not saying it's not a problem and we couldn't use an upgrade at the position b/c we could. But in the end you don't need a PG to actually run around and set screens on offense. We are "iso" all the time. That's all we do.

We need to get more shots for McGee

I think Heft hit the nail on the head when he pointed out that our bigs are not "doing work" early and getting position on the block when the ball is entered. They get the ball 15 feet from the hoop, and that is just not as effective for getting a good shot or a good kickout to a shooter.

i hate the "live or die by the 3" crap... work the ball inside! we will get destroyed in conference play, as always

If the team doesn't improve drastically, they won't win more than 2 conference games. They will have at least 2 games where they shoot lights out from the three.

Geologists?
CyBer = Herkykiller?

It makes so much sense now!

HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

exactly! let royce drive and create something, either for himself or for an open shooter. hard to watch guys just throw up 3s when they are covered. seems like poor coaching IMO... royce can also drive and draw fouls to get big guys in foul trouble. at least that would be my gameplan. then again, i am no coach
