*** OFFICIAL ISU-Lipscomb Gameday Thread!!***

Memphis only beat them by 10 and it they brought it to within 2 near the end of the game, and Memphis is better than ISU. Illinois beat them by 14 or 15 points. ISU won last night by 17 on a night when they had a guy hit 9 three pointers and was on fire. If he doesn't have such a hot shooting night they easily win by 20 to 30 points.

Exactly. Last night was a solid team effort against a team whose record doesn't really indicate what they can do.

I would think that the Memphis game would be an eye-opener for our fans. I sure wasn't expecting a 17-point win. The only team with a bigger margin of victory against Lipscomb was undefeated #22 Murray State. The Racers won by around 22-24.

We had less lulls, we responded well to Bergeson's hot shooting, and we put an impressive shutdown on Bergeson in those last 8ish minutes.
 
The team has also held 3 out of the last four teams to below 40% shooting, and against Iowa they held them in the first half to below 40% shooting. So it appears that the defens is improving.

Agree with both of you, I was getting smashed for saying basically this the whole game lol.
 
I honestly think this was one of our best games of the season. They were hustling, playing semi good defense, i actually saw scotty box out. Our shots just werent falling in the first half, otherwise the game would have not been close. Also if they didnt have a guy score on every three he shot it would have even been more of a blowout. Also it was nice to see scotty playing like his old self. Allen reminded me of garrett every once in a while flying through the lane which was nice to see. White was the mvp and only shot it 3 times. Booker came in and did a great job off the bench. Overall we played with alot of energy and i think thats the main thing we've been missing in all of our previous games
 
Didn't get to see this game. Had to go on a Ride Along with the local Police Department last night. Sounds like we played pretty solid though. Good to hear Allen broke out of his schell.

Yeah I understand that, but they post that stuff in a evil hearted way. Because they do it every single day.
