Man this is all just so exciting! It's hard to sleep with such a massive erection going on...
Yep, it helps you sleep after you pitch the tent.I found rolling onto your back helps.
Actually, I think we see the same number of students get tickets and go into the games. The difference, IMO, will be at halftime when they flock back to the lots to grab another beer. I think a fair amount may end up staying in the lots to watch on the videoboard, especially if the game isn't close. Will it be a noticeable difference? Probably not. But, probably more than if the videoboard was facing north.I could see some tailgaters (students) staying in the tailgate lots during the game instead of getting a ticket because they can tailgate and watch the game at the same time. Will it make a huge difference? I don't know, but probably not.
hoosman said:I like it - really will make a big impact during the games. The supports look very strong. I'm just curious what wind strength this thing has?
I was also wondering what's the amount of head winds that this massive erection can withstand.

Just to clarify the LED panels are made in Brookings SD. I know because I used to work there. They do all the soldering and everything there.
This should accelerate the plans to stop allowing re-entry in the third quarter. Hopefully. It's long overdue.
Actually, walking through there tonight, there isn't very much space in the student lots you can see the board from. Trees, the old scoreboard, and other random crap is in the line of sight.
