NFL: Moss waived by Vikings

Chilly just being Chilly.

All of these pro bowlers and the Vikes are 2-5. Too bad.

I wouldn't be shocked if AP starts grumbling if things get much worse. Then the Vikes are in real trouble. He's too good of a player to play for a crappy team and I don't know how long he's going to stick around before he asks to be traded or something.

Moss does not have to go through the waiver process as he has more than 4 years of experience in the NFL.

First, the waiver wire is used exclusively for players with less than 4 years of of service to an NFL squad. Once this player is placed on waivers, any team may claim him. If a player is claimed by more than one team, then the team with the worst record is awarded his rights.
Players with four or more accrued seasons in the NFL are exempt from the waiver system. They immediately become free agents upon release.

I'd be trying so hard not to cry that I'd be laughing. The one good thing that would come of that is that Childress would surely be unemployed.

Not if they're released after the trade deadline, he'll be put on waivers.

You can't blame them for waiving Moss after his postgame rant. Who knows what he was doing in the locker room as well. You can't allow that kind of stuff. However, it appears that Chilly is losing this team.

Zygi Wilf

Rick Spielman

That's a joke, right?

I don't knwo where to start with this mess. I suppose if Moss is already in full melt down mode its unlikely to get him back so best to just dump him. On the other hand, although hes been no help yet hes still the best reciever on the team. I suppose whatever they do should be geared toward next year and beyond cause this year is hopeless. If they really think dumping Moss is in that vain, then so be it.

I too would like Childress gone but why the love affair for the D coordinator? I'm not impressed but can't be much less effective then Chilly.

Moving to LA? DAMN YOU FOR SAYING IT!

Really? Brett Favre? Next your going to tell me that AP and Percy Harvin are bigger problems too

Ya, I'm sorry, Favre has been awesome this year with that 7:11 TD-INT ratio. Wow and that 69 QB rating is also off the charts!!!

If you don't think Favre has been a problem this year, then you better start actually watching the games without those purple tinted sun glasses.

Losing? He lost it a LONG time ago.

And in that case, Childress should be released too since he threw his team under the bus last week.
