So what do you think we have?

why do we chose to run a 'hurry-up' offense. Do we really want to kill our D more than they already are? Hurry up and go 3 and out so we can put our D back on the field!

We don't run a hurry up offense. It's a no huddle. It's only hurry up when we run the two minute drill. If it was actually a hurry up we would (hopefully) have been able to catch the D off guard this year and possibly get some "free" plays during our games.

They had their starters in during the 4th quarter, I believe. At least their punt returner was still in anyway.

This is one of those games where Utah has to make a statement for BCS purposes. They don't get many chance to play teams from BCS conferences, and when they do, they have to make the most of it. And they did. Doesn't make it any better on the classless scale, though.
Wrong. QB, RB, skill players = 3rd string. Entire o-line = 2nd string. D = 2nd/3rd mix.

They did NOT have their starters in. They were trying to slow the train down, too, but we wouldn't let them.

I saw that from the previous post from the Ute fan, thanks though.

I don't have a big issue with anyone running up scores, its up to our defense to stop them. Thought I saw Shaky out there in the fourth quarter, though.

Wow. This is a horrible post.

No, slightly above average teams do not get beat the way we got beat. Not even if they're playing the Colts.

We've played 2 good teams and the score could've been 300-20. Your occasionally is batting .1000 right now.

Or 1.000...

i think people are looking too much into the score of this game. it was a lopsided victory obviously but any game thats a blowout can be like this. people pull of the reins early in big 12 play because its not needed. utah is a different case. they are a mwc team trying to make a bcs bowl, they have to make gigantic statements in games like these. utah needs major style points to give themselves a case. if they were to come out in the 2nd half and tone it down and win 48 or 51 to 27, it doesnt look quite as good. they needed to really make a statement and they did. the d had turnovers early. utah is ranked 10th for a reason. isu is not to that level yet. utah is a good team. i think iowa is a good team. k state will be good in the big 12 and i think t tech will be too. Isu just got beat by a better football team.
