whatever happened with scott haughton?

Don't see the big deal...you'd graduate with honors at K-State with that.

Amen. When El Roberson played QB at K-state I remember the graphic for the bowl game his senior year had him listed as "undecided" for a major. I realize he was a juco transfer but he was half way through his Sr year and did not have a major!?!?!?!

Sorry but this just pisses me off. I hope the kid is successful but to **** away an opportunity is ridiculous. He not only screwed himself but he screwed his teammates. That is what angers me the most. Scott is tallented enough to have opportunities but he screwed his teammates because he was lazy.
And your attitude is worse. It is...Scott will be fine so screw your negative comments. Sorry but when you are a team member it isn't only about the individual. It is also about the team and the school you represent. I hope Scott realizes what he did to the people around him as well as how he screwed himself.
Don't get me wrong, I hope the kid straightens up and is successful in life but this isn't all about him and he needs to realize that as well.
one man don't make the team or did he? i thought it was go cylones or was it go cyclone gone........

Ell Roberson wasn't a Juco transfer you idiot.

Roberson obviously did something since synds got involved taking his fiesta bowl ring. But I didn't understand removing the Scholarship, since he was a 5th year senior/a dumbf*ck...Not as dumb as Michael Bishop though

yes he does realize what he has done but i believe the team will continue to produce the same amount of talent without him because scott had to learn how to protect the qb and other things, things he learned since he has been there he wasn't born a great offensive lineman he was molded to be one if he could get his academics together i guess he would be even better.i think haywood and the other ols will do just fine without him.sorry that it pisses you off so much hey why dont you fill his spot they accept walk-ons. go cyclones......................

Yeah, my 180 lb body would do wonders on the OL.

Like i said...I hope Scott takes this and uses it as a force to better himself and get his priorities straight. I would like nothing more than to see him get his grades straight, come back to ISU, and then have a successful NFL career.

What upset me was you commenting on how he could complete summer school and then still have options to make it to the NFL. That completely disregards the efforts the ISU staff/team put in to help him. Completely disregards the time his teammates spent gelling with him. And it was really a post about how Scott will be just fine no matter what happens. No mention of him be sorry he let his team down.

I was trying to point out that when a player fails to take care of their responisbilities in the classroom due to effort, which you admit he did, it not only affects him but it affects the people that were counting on him. It affects the people that put in the time and effort to help him grow. I have no doubt we will have guys step up and replace him but it still doesn't discount the time and efforts that were spent with Scott.

Again, I hope that Scott succeeds in whatever he does. It was your comments that rubbed me the wrong way. They seemed to be only concerned about Scott and how this affects Scott and not everyone around him. If I took those wrong I apologize.

Rumor I heard was 0.67

scott is back home regrouping himself.he was dismissed from the team for poor grades i guess he thought if he was just good on field the rest would be overlooked.NOT. so what do you think, he's gonna quit? NEVER i know him personally and this is just a stumbling stone for him and he will return stronger, faster and better than before.when he successfully completes summer school he will have a 2.0 gpa. then he can remain in a d1 college (plenty have offered him a scholarship even though he will have to sit on the bench next year) or he can drop down to a lower division (naia) be reinstated and dominate that division then transfer back to the big boys, who knows if he does it that way the guy would have three years of playing under his belt and may have a chance to be drafted. I heard that coach rhoads would reinstate him if complies and wants to return..................

Tick - Tock - his eligibility clock is still running. Don't you have 6 years to play 4?

Won't happen. Rhoads will not put up with crap like that. Is a 2.0 all he's shooting for? Maybe college just is not for him.
