Of course you wouldI am going to say Mac wasn't the whole problem with Ham and likely not the whole problem with Lucca.

Someone who has Lucca as a friend on facebook should comment on Lucca's status saying that!I just told a coworker about those posts and his response was this: "No Lucca, it looks like the ISU family is coming back together."
I agree.
I have a friend that started a business years back. Struggled to get it going. She had another friend that helped her a ton to get started. Referred people, loaned her money, etc. My friend was very grateful for this.
Over the years though, this other person behaved as if she owned my friend. Reminded her constantly the favors, referrals, etc. Treated her like crap.
Eventually my friend had enough. She didn't owe this person money anymore. Thanked her one last time for helping her get started but reminded this person it was her own work that built that business. And cut all ties with her.
Was she wrong? Should she have tolerated the nonsense because this person helped her get a good start?
I've heard from more than one person Greg was not nice to the players. Preached family and would be nice as can be one minute - but could turn vicious the next. I would not disagree players need to toughen up - but from what I understand coach/player relations were very, very inconsistent in Ames.
I call BS on this story. You didn't have a friend.
Alot of things will come out of this, including the reasons for the departures of players. Will be interesting to hear from past players, once McDermott is not the coach anymore. I have noticed there is a real hate for McDermott by players who have transfered.
I could care less about either one of these players...neither of them want to be here. Why should we worry what they think?

I agree. Could be an interesting couple of weeks after he leaves with the stories that have potential of coming out.
I think Dendy's comments are the tip of the iceberg.
And that concerns me. Up until last night, JP was 100% behind Greg. If things come out that point to Greg not being good with the players at all - how does that reflect on our athletic department and the decision to not make a change (on their own accord) this off-season?
Part of me wants to know what was really going on up there. The other part of me is concerned about what we will hear and the potential fallout from it.
I'm with you there on that last part. I want to know, but I don't want to know. Some of the stories that come out are going to be nasty. I don't have any inside knowledge on things like that, I don't have sources, but I've seen (like most of us) the fallout when there aren't consequences or relationships to consider, and this will get ugly as we hear the other side of the last four years.
is it weird that lucca still has his profile picture in an ISU uniform?
yeah, the comments from Boozer and Dendy today really scream hate. The players obviously hated McDermott. The ones who did not hate him simply disliked him. This has been evident for 4 years now.
Get what? That maybe some of the players don't hate GMac as much as people think? If ya don't get it after reading this...you never will...

All I know is there is one common thread in all of the player departures from ISU...that common thread is GM.
But you go ahead and keep banging on the kids.
