Hamilton Considering Cal, LSU, Virginia

He's got some pretty good options, good for him. Maybe he's taken these visits and realizes Iowa State is as good as any?
 
This kind of feels like the girl that breaks up with you because she wants to have more time for her friends or take a break from dating. Then you find out she's got somebody new the next week. Lame.
 
If this is true, the guy is a ****! Hamilton was developed into a decent center by our coaching staff and now he's taking that investment ISU put in him and giving it to someone else. It's like buying stocks, seeing the stocks increase in value, then someone else getting the profits for it. This is becoming too familiar to WJ. He Ham turns into a lottery pick at another school, I will be really PO'd.

Oh shut up! Ever think maybe some people get sick of losing all the time?Ham a lottery pick? Yea.
 
Well, no surprise here. He could have thrown McD under the bus, but chose not to. I wish Greg McDermott got "homesick" too like all his players.

This will be great. Then we can go through all of the articles and national praise crap we got with Wesley on here.
 
I get it if he went to play for Cal or a west coast school, but LSU and Virginia, somebody hates being at ISU. Those places may be better places to live, but they're not any better in the world of college basketball.

Exactly.... How is LSU and Virginia closer to home then Ames????

Wait.. Didn't you get that memo yesterday, he is coming back according to Cysimydog and KG. So what is the truth???

Probably. But don't be dumb enough to put it in your press release and say he is transferring to be closer to home in interviews...it makes Iowa State look stupid.
 
It is now clear that 'homesick' was the ruse and like WJ, Staiger, et al there is a fundamental problem with this staff. The 'surprises' are not really surprises.....these guys dont want to play for this coach. For me the question is why, what does he do that causes players to leave. We have seen losing before but not seasoned players leaving in the middle of the night. Too wierd.

That it does. That article makes it pretty obvious that being closer to home isn't a real issue, unless someone knows some geometric techniques that make Virginia closer somehow.
 
This has become almost laughable.

He's going, no he's staying, now he is going further from home.

When are try-outs for the team?
 
Question, when his transfer was announced, was there a quote from Hamilton at all that said he was homesick or was that just how the school was spinning it? I recall that when Wes originally transferred I think it was also said that he wanted to go somewhere closer to his home.

I think all the homesick talk is just something that McD and his guys put out there to take pressure off of them. What a joke. I realize it's not going to happen this year, but the sooner we are rid of this loser the better.

Wait a sec here bud, they never said he was coming back. Just a rumor. Don't try and start something that isn't true.
