Arizona State also doesn't have any wins against ranked opponents and look how that turned out in the Big 12 tournament. This Syracuse isn't anything to write home about. Zero wins against ranked opponents.

Well the Big 12 as a whole was pretty down this year
Agree, Creme's initial bracketology had only 5 I think? I suppose the parity might have gotten more teams in, but with worse seeds.Kind of surprised we got 8 teams in.
Even has 2 teams in first four out.Agree, Creme's initial bracketology had only 5 I think? I suppose the parity might have gotten more teams in, but with worse seeds.
I'd agree if the Cyclones were a 10 or 11 seed. I could see a 2 or 3 seed thinking "WTF is this draw", at least on potential. However, I don't think UCONN thinks anything other than "let's go win by 40".Not to be the contrarian here, but this Iowa State team isn't the 8 seed you'd hope for as a 1.
Yeah, they're a different sort of program for sure.I'd agree if the Cyclones were a 10 or 11 seed. I could see a 2 or 3 seed thinking "WTF is this draw", at least on potential. However, I don't think UCONN thinks anything other than "let's go win by 40".
ISU had an 83% chance of beating ASU in the tournament in KC. Just keeping everybody on the honest side here.
it was all part of the plan. Throwing the Big 12 game so ISU would stay as an 8/9 and be able to knock the #1 early and have an easier route to the final four.ISU had an 83% chance of beating ASU in the tournament in KC. Just keeping everybody on the honest side here.
Oh I see. I was too naive to catch that. Well if that happens Rebecca Lobo will have to be carried away in an ambulance. It'll just be too much for the ESPN sports world to handle.Hon

Side note and idk why it’s bugging me, but the graphic is so strange. Like why is JW on there twice.
Same thing in football. I would lateral 75 percent of the game just to keep the other team guessing. What do you have to lose.If we do get by Syracuse just toss up 50 threes against UConn and ope you make 25. Don't know why every 16 seed doesn't already do this
