*** Official #10 IOWA STATE vs #1 Purdue Game(Day) Thread ***

Honestly, I don't think tj could even play Cluff, guy is way too slow. And he would destroy any defense we have.
He definitely seemed slower than he did in games I saw last year. Maybe we just play that much faster.

Bolded is the lesson here.

That was a great chance for the group to go somewhere in the bright lights to get some work and film and that's probably about it.

I guess I was one of the few fans that couldn't have cared less about that Creighton scrimmage. I knew we were going to be ready for the season... but even I didn't think we were going to be "this" ready.

It is hard to play fast when you are so ******* afraid to do anything becuase all you see is a blur of defenders running around stealing your passes and keeping you from moving wherever you want to.

Man, can he lunge over the top of his defenders & tip that ball outwards. Has to lead the nation in that category. But holy one-dimensional, Batman!?

2 losses at this point including today and one in Vegas would have been great with the freshman, new pieces, etc.

I shrugged off the scrimmage because who really cares about that (or should)?

I had this one down as a loss coming into the season, and that was fine with me. Vegas changed it to a real possibility.
Obviously, today raises the possibilities even more.

The freshman progressing as quickly as they have is the difference. And Milan being 1st team all conference good.
