I’ll never understand this sentiment. Do people really think there are staff, employees, fans, boosters, etc today that love them some child sex crimes? If you had an uncle get arrested for soliciting minor does that mean everyone in your family for the rest of time is a pervert?

How about he goes undefeated next year, then gets embarassingly upset in the CFP. Penn State fans are thrilled and excited about the future, until Campbell decides to take the Steelers job.

I think we all knew there were only a handful of job he would take. Upper midwest "big time" programs - e.g. Michigan, ND, PSU, OSU. He was never going to a 2nd tier team, the deep south or west coast.

I hope he stays, I really do. But if he goes... well, he has a coaching tree out there, and there are options. Just have to hope for the best. Still sucks.

Besides, everyone is assuming it’s about money. What has Matt ever done to make you think money is his number one focus? If he were to leave, maybe it’s just for a change of scenery, to fulfill other goals, or take on a new challenge. I mean, I’d listen if someone came to me and offered me a job. I’m pretty happy with where I work and what I make, but it’s not like I wouldn’t entertain another opportunity…

It is about money, just not for him. It's about having enough NIL to not be hamstrung. Fight between the two men's programs for funds and doesn't sound like today's meeting went well.
