Does the sun give out NIL?Well, in 5 billion years the sun will expand into a red giant, engulfing the Earth in cleansing fire. So this isn't so bad.

Solid reasoning. Jamie has a list and has been very good about not having to wait long for a replacement. I’d prefer a head coach on the way up instead of an assistant who learns on the job. Having said that, Scheelhouse was a good assistant and excellent recruiter. Hope CMC stays and replicates Snyder-Ferentz type legacy but those days may be over with NIL & associated money influence in the college scene today.Doubt it.
Penn State is a top 10 football program. They draw 100k+ fans to their games, have the financial resources and are located in a recruiting hot bed.
And it's not far from where Campbell lived the first 30+ years.
If Campbell is considering PSU, it's because it's a great job. Nothing to do with negatives at ISU.
I HOPE he stays. He's a solid coach, but ELITE LEADER of young men. He's done right by ISU for 10 years, he's earned my respect to pursue other jobs.
And at the same time Matt's made ISU a better job and I'm confident Jamie would hire the next great leader of ISU football if need be.
That's why the land is being developed to draw traffic other than just athletic events. What happens to Cy Town being properly completed if he leaves and the FB program struggles for years? I'd assume the current and future President want nothing to do with that scenario. Let alone Pollard.
Get the coaching search thread fired up...
YesDoes Pollard offer Mouser the HC before Campbell can take him to PSU with him? Or is that a lost cause?
Nah if he leaves I want Penn State to suck & he's dead to me lolIf he is indeed leaving, that's a gut punch but I can't be mad at him. He gave us the best stretch of football we've ever had and turned down plenty of opportunities in the past to stay.
