We have good receiving options at the other two skills positions. I'm not worried about having two pro receivers, we just need guys that can execute. This has been beaten into the ground already but you really don’t think it’ll be tough to replace those two?
It shouldn’t be a viable concern by neutral parties when discussing the game? I can’t think of a new WR that has come in and lit it up in their first game. It usually takes some time.
Definitely and a lot of giys with potential. Do you think it’s fair for media national or local to have some “wait and see” on what we have on the outside? That was kind of the point I was trying to make.We have good receiving options at the other two skills positions. I'm not worried about having two pro receivers, we just need guys that can execute.
Ya, it's fair because that's the only thing you can do. I personally really like this roster and think this will be a special year.Definitely and a lot of giys with potential. Not in Iowa.If I were a bettor, I think I’d make a wager that Dom Overby makes a catch of at least thirty yards in this game.
Not what I want but I agree. Too much time figuring it out and being ultra conservative will be a loss. Need to bee aggressive, not stupid. As the prognosticators all point out…Campbell’s teams always start the season slow. Lots of new defenders. All those close scores are between two teams at the end of the season with things figured out. This will be different. If the cyclones start slow and the defense spends time figuring out what they are doing KSU wins this by 12-17. If a miracle happens, and the team actually comes out prepared… Iowa State wins by 10.
Just watched ESPN talk about the game. It was all K State and how great Avery Johnson could be. I really hope Rocco plays great, our defense dominates Johnson, and we win tomorrow.
To be fair, ESPN didn’t love Will Howard until he wore the OSU jersey. But again, back to your “name on the front” commentHe’s the guy that beat out Will Howard. And we know how much ESPN loved them some Will Howard.
It’s about the name on the front of the jersey. KSU had a better run in the national eye than we have. So, they’re going to get the attention from the national media. In the end, this is a toss up that no one really knows what’s going to happen. I’m happy that there’s coverage of the game and a win will garner some recognition. I think this is good for the teams playing and the league. As long as it isn’t a blowout either way, it will be talked about.
That being said, be prepared to miss some plays as they run promos talking about the Clemson vs LSU game next week. It will become nauseating by the 4th quarter. I wouldn’t be surprised if they didn’t have Dabo on the phone through the 3rd quarter tomorrow so they can hype the game you didn’t tune in to watch. It’s what they do.
YAY HEART !Head - evenly matched teams that play similarly, will be determined by turnovers, essentially its a coin toss and luck.
Heart - everyone is picking KSU to win. That's usually a good sign for the other team.
@Statefan10I think Sowell gets more than the others.
Nah you didn’t whiff. Chase will be fine he just needs to keep playing lol.
