CF POSTGAME: Iowa State can’t hang on, falls to Michigan to end season

Aiden Wyatt and Chelsea Poppens react to Iowa State’s loss to Michigan in the NCAA Tournament.

Thanks for following along all season!

Twister Sister Summary - Sisters Fall to Michigan

Man, talk about an exciting game to watch! There were clutch three pointers, assists galore, the usual horrid officiating (for both sides) and a battle that went right down to the last seconds.

Appreciation thread for the Women

I know that the season started off with a lot of Hype after the finish in the NCAA game last year against Standford. But everyone had to remember that we still had only 1 senior on a limited minutes plan all year long to go along with 5 sophmores and 2 tranfers and 2 true freshman. Teams had game film on both addy and audi and both played at an unbelievable level all year long. All the girls hustled all year long and yes i understand that we need to figure out a defensive game plan with Audi not being able to guard anywhere but the paint.

Losing Kinze Hare what probably the biggest dagger . She was brought in to be that third scorer behind audi and addy. I am still excited about the future of this program. Tanke had some good minutes today she has a very good looking shot just need the experience at the big 12 level.

Last thing I do not why every one wants to Bash on Bill . He has been the head coach for 30 years 800 wins and has brought this program to national respectability. How many 20 win seasons has he had! How many times has he taken the girls to postseason mulitple big 12 tournament titles. I DO NOT THING HE NEEDS TO GO ANYWHERE!

1:1 Interview with St. John about Jacob Frost

Hi crew,

I did an interview with Derek St. John this morning about Jacob Frost's tournament so far.

If you're not familiar, Dresser will split the guys up between Metcalf and St. John for 1:1 trainings especially in March. Obviously Dresser at the top and does the majority but then they get that personalized trainings. Which I love guessing who works with who as new guys enter the lineup just cause you get a feel for it the more time you spend around the team! Evan gets Metcalf.

I love chatting with St. John. He's very technical so I love hearing him explain things in his own words. Enjoy! Apologies for how loud it is. These back halls are chaos.
