RV Halloween

Morning CyclONEnation-

Quick question the kids and I may be making a trip back Thursday, October 30 through Sunday, November 2 but my main concern is when the RV lot is having their Halloween party?

I see both cities in Ames and San Diego are having their trick-or-treat night on Thursday rather than actual Friday, October 31

Print content v Audio

I know it seems that having a podcast is the “thing.” But…when you can’t or don’t want to listen to a podcast or audio story and just want to enjoy the content, having audio only posts for most of the main lead stories is a pain. It’s easy to post text copies of a podcast. It’s just to the point where one doesn’t get to view a majority of the content on CF because it’s gone in that direction. Help!

Too late to seed grass?

The city tore up a part of the street next to my house to repair it and poured new concrete. As part of this they re-poured the curb and dug up some of the grass next to it. They filled it back in but I need to put some seed down. Is it too late to expect any seed to grow? I am just wondering if I should put some down now or wait until spring. It is not a huge area (approx 1ft x 12ft).

On That Note: Return of the Vampire

This week we pay tribute to the spooky season of Halloween with a theme dedicated to the Vampire character. We are looking for the following key words in the title or lyrics: vampire, Dracula, fangs, bite, blood, garlic.

Variations of above words are allowed.

“On That Note” is presented each week on Cyclone Fanatic by @MeanDean, @cyclones500 and myself.

BYU Pre-Game Activities

Re-posting in the football discussion.
So I am headed to Ames this weekend for the BYU game with my 2 kids. We have a 3 hour drive so depending on when we leave, get in between 10 and 11 and park in the free spots up north.
As a Civil Engineering grad, they are having a tent, so plan to get food there.
I know the spirit walk is around 11:50.
In the past we have always just gotten there in time to get in and get to the Hillside. What other things should I plan to do with the kids?

Also besides the hillside wall is there anywhere else to watch the team during walkout? Is there anywhere accessible between Stark and JTS?

G-League back to NCAA

I apologize if this has been discussed, but pretty great stuff from Izzo, who seems to be one of the few of the old guard holding on in this new landscape. Basically Louisville just added a guy to their roster who was paid to pay in the G-League for the last 2 years.

Seems like the floodgates could open back up for professional players who had remaining eligibility to return to college. You think of a guy like Wiggington who couldn't stick on a roster but didn't use up all his eligibility. Could be really interesting to see how far this extends.

BYU Pre-Game

Moved this over to the football discussion as it is more than just tailgate
