BYU Pre-Game

Moved this over to the football discussion as it is more than just tailgate

So I am headed to Ames this weekend for the BYU game with my 2 kids. We have a 3 hour drive so depending on when we leave, get in between 10 and 11 and park in the free spots up north.
As a Civil Engineering grad, they are having a tent, so plan to get food there.
I know the spirit walk is around 11:50.
In the past we have always just gotten there in time to get in and get to the Hillside. What other things should I plan to do with the kids?

Also besides the hillside wall is there anywhere else to watch the team during walkout? Is there anywhere accessible between Stark and JTS?

The spirit walk kind of sucks compared to what it used to be.

Veisha is dead but it would be nice for future Cyclones to see not only the campus but the robotics labs, simulators, mechanical testing, modeling, 3d printing, etc. Also , a homecoming parade (like EIU) would be cool. ISU has become VEISHA phobic. Definitely don’t need the concerts, parties, drinking, and riots.
