Hey, no problem. I feel that reasonable minds can disagree without being disagreeable. I loved those two championship seasons as much as anybody. I'm originally from Ames and grew up going to games at Hilton, so those good times are near and dear to my heart. LE should be given a lot of credit for being so successful those two seasons, but I am disappointed that he couldn't sustain that success and that our program backslid his last two seasons.

I just googled it - what a gorgeous bike!! You need a much sleeker jacket to go with that bike, where I'm guessing you had a lot "tougher" jacket for the Harley? And, I think, new boots. Right??

Ooh, definitely new gear!! I think you have to match the gear to the bike, right? I think that's a rule, actually. :yes: Street bike?

That's awesome!! And I'm guessing you match your shoes to your belts?? That is just the best thing ever - taste is a good thing. :yes: I used to keep track of what I wore every day so I could cycle through my clothes more fully - I realized it was a little too OCD, and stopped. :wink:

I took a motorcycle course a couple of years ago - it was a BLAST, but I am fairly certain I will keep to riding on the back of bikes.

We may be far too similar. :yes: I have so many clothes I forget about... Is that sad? I think it's sad. This Christmas In July thing is pure genius. We've got to set up a trip! :wink:

I shop WAY too much!! Mostly clothes - most guys don't like to shop for that, though, so I'll warn you before our trip. :yes: I think Christmas shopping sounds fantastic, though!

Absolutely will do!! I know they're really "last month", but I love Vampire Weekend. Bon Iver reminds me quite a bit of The Shins, too.

dm, Friends in the car business have told me that Infiniti is requiring a new $6 million building to be erected by anyone wanting the Infiniti franchise. The Betts people are good businessmen and may drag their feet at that idea. Do you realize how many cars have to be sold on a yearly basis to make an investment of that size cash flow?

I played trombone in the Marching Band, Pep Bands and the jazz bands at ISU. My father is a music teacher in central Iowa, so music was kind of a way of life for me. I am currently playing jazz trombone with several professional bands in the Denver area.
Do you still play?

I assume you play trombone. Do you play or did you play in the bands at ISU? I was a music major in the early 80s.

Any chance you can talk about the JJ Bass news? I logged on this evening and saw Jeremy's post but have no idea what he is talking about. Doesn't sound good from the tone of his post!
