2001-2002 Men's Basketball Signed Ball

For Sale: $50

I have basketball I won at an Animal Rescue League charity blind auction 25 years ago. My winning bid was $101.00. The ball has the signatures of the entire roster and some of the coaches including Larry Eustacy. ISU went 12-19 (4-12 in Big XII) this season. Some notable player signatures include Jake Sullivan, Jared Homan, Shane Power and Tyray Pearson. I have been able to identify most of the signatures looking at the roster, but to be honest, there are a few I'm not sure of. Full roster: Jake Sullivan, Omar Bynum, Tommie King, Brandon Nicol, Brian Gahan, Ricky Morgan, Adam Schaper, Shane Power, Clint Varley, Tyray Pearson, Brad Davis, Justin Fries, Marcus Jefferson, Jared Homan, and Andrew Skoglund.

If anyone is interested in this piece of ISU basketball history. Just reply to this thread. Not sure of the potential interest level but the first to reply gets the ball. Located in Altoona, IA - pick up only.

Thanks!

Scoring Droughts

Under TJ it is not secret there have been multiple 4 minute plus FG droughts or outright scoring droughts. It has plagued this program. The early years you can probably give a pass for it happening as there may not have been the offensive firepower. The good news is it doesn't happen as frequently now. But with this team, it should never happen in my opinion. Tonight we had a freaking 6 minute scoring drought and another one for 3 minutes. 8 minutes of basketball and no points. How do we get out those, or prevent them. I guess one obvious thing is call a time out. I noticed when BYU went into a rut, they called a time out and ran a successful play out of it. Why can't we do the same? Thoughts?

Barking Dog Deterrent

Anyone have experience with those longer range sound devices? Supposed to be humane. Works up to few hundred feet so they say. Neighbor has a Great Pyranees. From the second its out, to when they command it back (fortunately only 5 to 10 minutes) it never stops barking. They will not put a bark collar on it. So its time for me to take action. We live rural. Thanks.

On That Note: All Right Now

For this segment, we seek songs & titles that include the phrase “all right.” Also accepted: okay/OK.

“On That Note” is presented each week on Cyclone Fanatic by @MeanDean, @CycloneRulzzz and cyclones500.
Starting with this track, mainly because it includes both key phrases.

“OK, all right, OK, all right.”

Jeriann Ritter

Some sad news about Jeriann Ritter. We used to have her and the rest of the WHO crew on every morning as we were getting up and going for the day, but haven't done that for a few years. Then more recently when I've caught her it was clear that something with her voice was off. She just opened up about it and it's not great news, sounds like a degenerative condition and the prognosis is that eventually she'll lose the ability to speak.

Very sad if true. Pulling for her and hope she proves the neurologists wrong.

Travel to the Pilippines

We are planning on taking a family trip to the Philippines over spring break. Planning on 10 days.
Travel cost there is kinda high, but food, lodging, and excoursions are realatively inexpensive. The Philipines are a largly underrated and less traveled destination with some increadible scenery and world class snorkeling.

Does anyone have any experience in the Philippines, and do you have any pointers.

It has been a hot minute since I have done any overseaas travel, but can't wait to share a little adventure with my wife and kids!
