I think that ship has sailed, and even if we did have a little, he could make a lot more at another school.Does Iowa State have money uncommitted to offer Milan? I lost track.
Does Iowa State have money uncommitted to offer Milan? I lost track.Looking like Milan has little to no chance going in the first round, so unless he can go pick 31 to 40 or so, he would be better off returning to college and taking the NIL.
I was curious, so I looked it up. I was surprised as well. You sure defend Iowa a lot more than ISU, not sure I believe your username.
It may have felt good and been absolutely correct at its core but that doesn't mean it wasn't a huge misstep.I completely disagree that it's a misstep. ISU's eulogy has already been written, and it involves being "relegated" within 10 years no matter who says what if no facts on the ground change. I think it was refreshing for someone to call out the "P2" puppets, and the leak that his comments or "proposal"—which he very much did not say was any official proposal that he plans to submit to the Big 12 and ACC—made their way into Big Ten meetings is all just posturing because those folks want to think they have the biggest you know whats in the room at all times. He explicitly said his opinion isn't law, and calling the big boys' bluff isn't going to happen. But that means he can say whatever he wants, which is logic that makes sense to me
I also agree with this. However, I think AI costs are for sure going to rise from where they are now due to resource constraints and demand.I think it will meet halfway. In the not too distant future AI will be integrated into pretty much all the software we use, so you will still have digital artists but there jobs will be much quicker and less labor intensive as AI can do a lot of the heavy lifting for them. They won't need mocap and green screen anymore. Reshoots will be much easier, etc. This is taking the generative AI concept to the extreme which I think we are still a ways from doing for everything. But I think there is no doubt that AI is going to lead to a huge reduction in production costs.

I think hitting the sign the way she did turned the car just enough to direct the impact to the front right of the vehicle. Had she managed to hit the building head on, who knows if she survives. She's nuts and her family is nuts. Going with a bench trial was nuts. Somewhat amazed with the condition that the car was in, crumple zones sure do work for a 100-to-0 impact. That's why she lived...I doubt she intended to live through it. Amazing that the vehicle didn't go up in flames somehow from a front impact that way also.
I got tripped up by one piece of prosceution evidence though: the brake thing from the recorder. A brake pedal isn't an On/Off item, it's a range of inputs just like the accelerator is, which was also shown. It looked like the evidence they presented was actually the status of the parking brake, which would only be on or off. If it isn't, that's a really odd way to express brake pedal input (it doesn't matter at all in this scenario, it's pretty obvious this was intentional one way or another, but just something I thought was interesting).
He also said a little too much early on about voting against one of his closest allies (i'm terrible about remembering their names). I know Charlie was really pissed about that from the get-goSeems helpful, but also had no relationships and the specter of being voted out simply because he was an unknown risk.
If Audi had transferred out of Big 12, I would have an easier time rooting for her, but I don't see that happening with her at OSU. She is a gifted and unique player and person, so I'll wish her well in her personal life if not on the court. I don't begrudge her for getting the bag.
