Iowa State women’s basketball is coming off of its second straight trip to the Big 12 championship game.

As the season’s come to a close, major outlets have started to release their editions of Way Too Early Top 25. Here’s where the Cyclones stack up.

The highest Iowa State ranked in these came in The Athletic’s ranking. The Cyclones are slotted at No. 9 right above Big 12 foe Kansas State at No. 10. Other conference teams in the ranking include No. 14 Baylor, No. 15 West Virginia, No. 16 Arizona and No. 25 TCU.

ESPN tabs the Cyclones as the highest ranked Big 12 team going into next season, with Iowa State at No. 10 in the outlet’s ranking. South Carolina is slated as the No. 1 team. Other programs in the Big 12 include Baylor at No. 13, West Virginia at No. 16, and Kansas State at No. 17.

FloHoops also put out a Way Too Early edition of rankings, and each Big 12 team is slated in the same spot as they are in ESPN’s poll.
