Cantaloupe, or musk melon, is great by itself. Add a little salt to each bite. The problem is when people mix it with that green honeydew ********. Honeydew ruins everything.

In Iowa the Muscatine melons are good but the Sugar Kiss melons in Texas are amazing

YES!!!! We had sugar kiss cantaloupe in Mississippi, it is like eating candy! OMG I wish we could get them here in the North. Besides, why do we care the opinion of someone who has no sense of smell or taste (CW)?

You're doing something wrong. Pears are usually good from the time they're rock hard until they get softer and juicier like a week to 10 days later. It just depends how you like them.

I like my pears overripe. The softer, the better.

My only issue is there is about a 48 window of peak banana eating time, miss that window and they suck. Avocado's have the same problem except they're only good for about an 8 hour window.
