I went with the Colts, because a 33 - 0 lead at half should be a gimme win, you just don't have to collapse and the Colts collapsed in a record breaking way.

The Patriots, while really, really stupid, weren't in the lead at the time. They still had to deal with OT and you never know how that goes.

It's definitely Colts. Sure, the lateral was massively dumb, but it's a single mistake. The Colts allowed the biggest comeback in NFL history.
There was something strangely familiar about the Colt's offense in the 2nd half but I just cannot quite remember where I have seen it before, something from 2015 in college football.........

I'd agree with that. The Patriots loss was on 1 stupid play. The colts loss was a complete and utter meltdown for an entire half of football.

Cowboys losing to the Jags. I just hate the Cowboys and all the "Jerryatrics" that goes with them. So overrated. Plus I have friends who are Cowboy fanatics.

It amazes me how much a team like the Cowboys lives in people's heads. An organization that's won zilch in the last 30 years and will continue winning zilch.

Jakobi Meyers lofting a Hail Mary lateral to midfield as time expired on a tie game was probably the weirdest play I’ve ever seen in the NFL.

Modern era for sure. That would be a good thread.

Jim Marshall running the wrong way for a TD a long time ago would be up there.

What makes it weirder is it's the Pats doing it with a possible playoff spot on the line, while the Colts have been pretty bad so whatever.

I'm giving the nod to the lateral INT.

I went with the Patriots because it could cost them a playoff spot. The Colts weren't making the playoffs regardless of outcome.

Marshall's was a safety because he threw the ball out of bounds in his own end zone. He thought he scored a TD though. Very weird play.

I’m an NFL newbie but I’m being told the Cowboys are light years better than 49ers. Somehow I don’t see it.
The Cowboys de pantsed the Vikings a month or so ago, and it's pretty much what has set them up on this high pedestal--especially amongst midwestern NFL fans who were all watching that game, and which include probably 95% of people that post in these forums. The Cowboys are always the same paper tiger it seems like.

I'm with you on this. Stakes were quite a bit higher for the Pats, the Colts have been dead in the water for like 2 months.

Vikes came back AND dealt with horrible calls.
I was amazed to see the Vikings get a defensive TD called back. I was dumbfounded to see them get two separate defensive TDs called back in the same damn game.

Just think about that for the Colts: they scored a TD in all 3 phases. They had a 33 point lead, pitching a shut-out. Vikings got 2 separate TDs taken off the board. Yet... The Colts somehow still lost that game, despite all of this.

It really was one of the most epic collapses in sports history.
