Toyota Motor Sports is conducting a contest. The website lets you design a racecar, and if enough people vote for that design the winner will get to see their car race in an actual event in Georgia later this year.

Shayden is a boy with leukemia who also happens to be a race fan. It would mean a lot to him and his family if his car design would win and get him five star treatment at a NASCAR event. But he needs another 10000 votes to make it into the top ten and next round of voting, and he only has seven more days to do it.

My job is to spread the word and see if we can pull it off for this kid.

Vote for Shayden's car here.

(In 3D mode, his pic is also on the car's roof.) We are trying to see if we can get him across the finish line, and would like Cyclone fans to help! This is a fun way to help out someone you don't even know!

Thanks.

Vote everyday, if you can! And tell some others.

I learned about it two days ago and we have pulled him up three places from 27th to 24th by throwing together over 1000 votes in that time. But the higher he gets, the tougher the job. The first place car got over 60000 votes during its two week voting run. I'd like Shayden's car safely in the top ten so he's got a good shot of seeing his wish come true.

Voted, and its really easy. Just keep bumping the thread to get people to do it. Good Luck.

It takes two seconds. Vote every day and help him out.

Any CF evil geniuses know if it's a cookie or temp file blocking you from voting more than once?

(This should help draw some attention!)

Voted.

And it appears to be neither, might be an IP restriction... I'm still working on it and sent it to a couple IT guys in my house to figure it out.

800 votes in one day so far. Not bad, but not good enough to get him there. He's going to need three times that.

Hate to see the kid come up just short.

Don't forget to vote tomorrow. And the next day.

Bump for guilt play.

Have no problem cheating for a cause like this...but don't over do it and get him kicked out similar to the whole "best tailgating location" fiasco on espn.com. That would be terrible.
