Will the BIG10 Reverse Their Decision?

On average, a Covid patient pulls and additional $2600 over a non-Covid patient. That is why if they haven't been test and they have the symptoms, it is in the financial interest to call it probable Covid.
Bingo

Pretty much my sister's entire family works in healthcare. My neighbors' daughter and SIL work in healthcare. In none of my conversations about COVID have any of them said anything other than it being a valid concern and bigger issue than the general population realizes. I have never heard a peep about over reporting from anyone actually in healthcare. It is always third hand accounts or stories on social media.
Out of curiosity before I make any assumptions based on what I found, where do they work? As in what state? If it is also in MN where your profile states you live that would make sense as the amount of Covid patients compared to where I live and where I am stating this happened is completely different (Michigan). Michigan has amount 40,000 more cases. This was not some third hand account. I was sitting in her back yard when she told us the story

SF: 'Scott Frost thinks we need to play some football. Look at Scott Frost's championship ring. Isn't it shiny? Did I ever tell you about Scott Frost's Central Florida team?'
He should follow a similar path from when he was at UCF. Just go along with the B1G's initial decision of NO Fall football and, when this season's CFB Champion is decided, he can have his AD declare to the nation that Nebby went undefeated and are, therefore, National Champs.

I have knowledge of coding as having to deal with stuff on a decent sized ambulance service as the treasurer. My sister is the former CFO of two MN hospitals and I would ask her for help when we had coding problems. We then hired a company to do it. We paid them a 30% commission, our revenue jumped 30% (after commissions) from their coding ability. The coding world is cut throat.

And everyone wonders why insurance is so expensive.

If the Big10 backtracks on playing this fall they'll be able to make the worlds biggest omelet with all that egg on their face.

I keep wondering what health insurance rates will be for 2021. Kinda scary to think about that already. I've never had a flu shot before and thinking this might be the year to get one finally.

Its egg on their face nearly no matter what. If they backtrack, its them admitting they were wrong. If they don't play and the other leagues finish their seasons in some way shape or form, it could go down as the biggest sports blunder of all time. Their one sliver of hope is rooting that all the other leagues completely fail in their seasons, which yay, they win!!! Congrats.

The SEC with generally milder climates would maybe make sense for a late start. Upper midwest in December?

Might as well have everyone run the wishbone again.

Yeah. At least the NFL has heated fields to play in January. Those college fields are going to be rock hard if they try to play in their normal stadiums. Are they going to pull an NHL and just have bubbles in Indianapolis, Detroit, and Minneapolis?

This seems like conspiracy theory level talk tbh.

honestly none of this seems like anything more than a few loudmouth millionaire coaches who never really had any decision making authority to begin with pushing this. The presidents made their decision and don't seem to have really changed that
If you think every b1g AD and head FB coach held a conference call and decided to float this idea without the knowledge of their university presidents I don’t know what to tell you. Do you think somebody like GarBar, who is viewed as the inflamed boil on the ass of the b1g is going to make a power move like that? Most of the info I’m repeating came from Tom Kakert. Tom Kakert for crying out loud.

The Gophers may be the only college team that has a field they don't share with an NFL team that is actually heated. The Vikings paid for it when they were playing there while US Bank Stadium was being built.

Well they didn't even do that, apparently.

One of many stories that has been outright made up about what the big 10 is doing with this, by those trying to pressure the big 12 into changing its decision. Its deranged.
